SwitchTemplate's first addon - Profile Badge |

In the first of what we hope to be many, today we release the Community Builder Proile Badge Plugin. This plugin creates a profile badge consisting of a Site name, user profile image and space for two slogans. It then generates the code to place this badge on any other site that allows html insertion, such as a myspace profile.
This not only allows your users to encourage their friends to sign up to your site, but every time the html is used you get backlinks, which everyone knows help build a site's ranking in the search engines.
This plugin can be downloaded from the Freebies section of the site.

 | Striped is yet another free templates from SwitchTemplate. It gets it name from it stripy logo, which comes with a psd with the template to allow you to change it to your needs. The templates has a permanent left column as is standard on many templates, whilst not the most exciting of templates available there is something to say for its basic form, people are used to templates like this, and have come to expect the standard layout that is provided by Striped. Arankus is a tech styled template, with a blue border layout. The template makes use of three user positions above the main content whch collapse when not in use. As always, the template is valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional. The template is a modified version of a template that we provided for a gaming website whohas graciously allowed us to release this modified version to the Joomla! community for free. Well, after countless hous of late night work, we are finally able to go live, and we do so with 3 brand new commercial templates and 2 free templates, what better way to celebrate?
So here we are, but who are we? SwitchTemplate is a company that wants to change the web, bringing good quality design to the masses by design great templates and offering them at a price that anyone can afford. We also work to provide free templates for those who can’t pay, or those that simply don’t want to. By giving away templates we hope the make the web a slightly better place
